dadcheck® has been providing DNA testing services to the legal profession, social services and to private individuals for over 20 years. We operate our own UK-based laboratories and have built a considerable reputation for the highest quality service.

The dadcheck® brand is owned by Complement Genomics Ltd, a full-service and established genetic testing and molecular biology company, details of which can be found here.

Serving the legal profession and social services

We carry out court-directed and legal aid associated DNA testing work for the purposes of paternity testing, immigration, sibling DNA tests (often for wills and probate), surrogacy and other DNA-based relationship testing.

We are one of only a few companies in the UK to provide a DNA testing service suitable for legal purposes.

The dadcheck® service is accredited by the Ministry of Justice as a body that may carry out parentage tests directed by the civil courts of England and Wales under section 20 of the Family Law Reform Act 1969.

We hold ISO/IEC 17025 accreditation, the key standard for service laboratories. Please click on this link to see our current UKAS accreditation.

Our UK-based laboratory is highly experienced (20 years +) and utilises the latest equipment and technologies, which together with a caring and efficient administration team provides for excellent customer service.

Serving private individuals and families is intended to provide DNA testing for private individuals and families.

You can access a full range of private DNA testing services for paternity and other human relationships.

Our accredited paternity tests can be used for the identification of the father of a child, for immigration DNA tests (paternity and maternity) or for surrogacy.

Our paternity testing reports are suitable for legal purposes and we often conduct work overseas via an established network of clinics and sample collectors. Our ISO/IEC 17025 accreditation applies to this paternity testing service.
